I have started to use these. I still use my AirPod pros, but sometimes I just want more kick to my music and these fit the pedigree for me.

I’m not even using AirPods, I use a nice set of SoundPeats Air3 Deluxe, semi in-ear like AirPods. They are smaller than AirPods, louder sound and microphones for calls, and battery lasts much longer.

The new Air4 even has adaptive audio cancellation and multi-device pairing, all in a 50€ semi in-ear headset

I use either wired EarPods or wireless Jabra ones my mom gave me since she didn’t like them and got AirPods.

I had those JBL headphones, didn’t last me a month and when I wore them while running every step I took they would almost intensify the sound rather than block them out and listening to music the sound was so bad that I had to turn the volume down or else they would sound like the bass and the higher pitched noises were cutting in my ears. Interesting to hear that you’ve had a very different experience!

Oh and to answer the question, I use the Jabra Active 7 or something like that and were using XM3 over-ear as well before that.
