I picked up the tie rods and looked at em and the joints look different on the one for the right, compared to one for the left side of the car. Is this normal? I thought tie rods were the same part for either side. Or is it a different part for either side like pictured?
At my shop if the mother fucker parts guy sends me two different parts in the same “brand” boxes but there’s a difference in anything but “left side or right side” like that boot, pictured, better get my ass a new one and fuckin check the box first next time before you send it. Can’t tell you how many times I “accidentally” got a returned core that was in the shelf and just grabbed and sent out. Mother fuckers ain’t got time for wrong parts when customers waiting bro. Fuck.
Looks like someone pulled the old switcheroos on your parts in the wrong box and returned it.
