Lots of people jumping to conclusions on a dude who is still very young and developing his game and body. While I’m not all in on JA he is still needed as opposed to not being available at all - mainly because it allows Mobley to flourish. He’s still fine defensively but he and the team are even more impactful when he’s able to rotate on the defensive end as a four and impact a number of opposing positions.

On the offensive end he’s simply not big enough yet to be impactful inside as a C. Much prefer him getting his looks with the threat of JA there - opens him up to more mismatches and better looks.

There’s also the fact our coach doesn’t really scheme for him much at all but don’t get me started on JB!!!

End of the day stop talking shit about the dude, he’s played most games so far this season without a point guard and without his frontcourt buddy, and he’s shown us more than enough during his EARLY career for us to know he has major potential.
