After switching to Google DNS since our provider’s was causing issues with certain apps like Discord and certain websites which would mostly not load anything at all (days passed). This fixed everything however every now and then the internet keeps stopping. However the no internet icon does not appear in the corner of windows. Rather than no internet, the browser says the website’s DNS cant be found. My phone’s internet settings report “Connected without internet”. We have constantly restarted the router. It is hard to tell how often this happens. A minute or two later it then goes into saying no internet and the icon appears. When running the get help app in windows, it says i am connected to the internet even when this is happening. What is/could be causing this?
The router’s Broadband, Internet, and Wireless lights start flashing red one by one until everything starts working again. The internet provider is EE, a UK service.
Windows 11, Windows 10 and Android on our devices.
