We are in another true in between season. Could absolutely make the playoffs or start trying to accumulate picks. 0 trades at the deadline? Nothing? Is this what we’ve become? Happy wiry mediocrity with no end in sight?

These kinds of complaints always make me want to make a jerking off hand motion as I read them but I’m currently in a hospital setting and I don’t want the nurses to look at me weird so I’m not doing it.

First off, it’s extremely presumptuous to think Omar was sitting on his hands at the deadline. There’s no chance he wasn’t on the phones and talking with other GMs. They just didn’t find anything they liked out there, offer-wise.

Secondly, making trades just to make trades is not a good idea. That’s a fantasy football dipshit move that rarely works in fantasy either.

It’s almost certain he made inquiries and likely found the asking prices too steep. I’d rather we make no trades than bad ones.

honestly…i am not sure what trades were even viable this year…We don’t have a whole lot to offer that we would get good return on…it was a very boring trade deadline around the league…in part I think tons of injuries have contributed.
