The harsh winter, lack of adequate medical care, shortage of water and poor sanitation have exposed newborns and children in Gaza to infections in refugee camps.
But a greater worry is the worsening mental health of displaced and orphaned children.
…and all that pain and anguish will be focused on one thing…
Aside from the obvious genocide, Israel made such a glaring strategic error here.
From the point of view of a peaceful outcome, Israel made a “strategic error” when they built a wall around Gaza, way before any of these children were born.
From the point of view of genocide… no they didn’t; now they can clearly point to how “radicalized” are people in Gaza as a excuse.
That’s dark, and I think you’re right.
It’s difficult to imagine what it must be like for that to be your childhood experience – piles of corpses, relatives buried in rubble, pain, hunger, suffering, fear. And you don’t even know why the hell they are doing this to you.
