I bought the Tesla Universal Wall charger to “future proof” my charger. Turns out the “Universal” feature is misleading. The J1772 attachment is too short to engage charging on my BMW ix 50 as well as the ID 4 and the Rivian R1S . (I had friends come over and see if they could get it to activate on their cars.). Charger worked fine when using the NACS with a 2nd party J1772 adapter. Is there any way to inform Tesla of this because I can’t find an email to save my life.
