    Look, I’m not going to, and I dont want to, convince you to like it. And you wont convince me to not like it. It’s art, it’s subjective. That’s okay.

    However, If you compare it to other media popular for it’s target audience, it’s very much in line with the attitude and humor. Television shows like Fleabag and Insecure, books like Ottessa Moshfegh’s My Year of Rest and Relaxation or Raven Leilani’s Luster. If you are enjoying or following this movement in art, and are a part of that conversation, you would probably think it’s good, funny, interesting.

    Look it’s not for you, why isn’t that okay? Does everything I’m the mcu need to be for you, or can the space be big enough for others?

      I’m all for things that aren’t for me…so long as they’re good.

      I haven’t seen any of those shows or read those books, although I’ve seen some clips from Fleabag and it looks hilarious.
