It’s an aluminum oil filter adapter for my 03 F150. I was thinking about using a razor blade to see if I can scrap it off. If that doesn’t work maybe some red colored scotch brite. It hasn’t arrived yet so I don’t know how caked on that stuff is on there but just would like to prepare myself so I can get this job done and over with as soon as possible. So yeah if y’all got any ideas or experiences to get this surface smooth so the gasket seals I would appreciate it. Would really suck to have to do to the job twice.
