Smurfs should get accelerated XP gains to protect new players from having to play so many games against them. When you are a new player and you have to play every game until level 30 against people who are 10x better than you, it can be a discouraging experience. I was playing a game the other day against a new player and they legitimately wanted to report me because they said I was a Smurf, but I can’t play ranked yet, I am not level 30. On one hand I feel bad for them, but on the other I don’t have a choice. Until Riot accelerates Smurf XP rates, what are we supposed to do? Wouldn’t this be better for everyone?
