I’m expecting it to be delivered in 2 weeks - and I’ve heard so much about its comfortable design and rounded sides - the phone looks beautiful and I wouldn’t wanna keep it inside a case given I’m definitely getting Apple Care for it. What’s your take? Do you purchase your Apple Care iPhones in cases?

I’ve got a 15 PM with Apple Care. I don’t use a case because of apple care. If I scratch something I’ll repair it for a small amount of money. The haptic experience is worth it. And it’s no risk at all because of apple care

Consider the attention to detail that was put into designing the iPhone 15. The rounded edges that ensure a state of the art in hand feel. The beautifully looking back glass with color infused throughout the material. The frameless display that has better than ever brightness, color depth and touch sensitivity. Apple engineers worked for months or maybe years on optimizing every aspect of the phone’s exterior as well as the display’s capabilities. Now, take a moment to really think about this next bit and what it means. Attaching a screen protector and putting your phone in a case. Suddenly your phone is not solely an Apple product. The thoughts, ideas and immense attention to detail that surrounded the development of your $1000 product are now subject to cheap third party accessories that you will touch, feel and look at all the time when you use your phone. I understand that it’s not a great feeling to drop your phone or see its screen getting scratches… but it’s a much worse feeling to so recklessly compromise the world class level of attention to detail that Apple accomplished. Don’t use screen protectors and cases. Apple didn’t make them. Apple don’t want you to use them.

Need a case? No. Want a case for better protection? Yes. Asking on whether I should use a case without considering protection? That is entirely your decision
