Regardless of his current or future achievements in the NBA, I believe Masai will be inducted into the hall of fame for growing the game of basketball in Africa. His work with Giants of Africa and Basketball Without Borders is monumental for the growth of basketball and will have a lasting impact. We will see more African born players come to the league but more importantly we will see more youth have a chance to find success through basketball.

More diverse youth from around the world will have success but I think the numbers will not change that much unless Basketball goes the way of Soccer. As long as NBA is the ultra dominant league, the number of youth having success will remain unchanged.
