Me and my friend didn’t feel like playing anything lately… so we bought PalWorld and for now it’s going good (though the mid-game is a bit too grindy).
Im playing Skyrim again. I think ive finally got a mod pack that is stable enough to possibly get sorta close to maybe beating the game, hopefully. It only crashes once or twice an hour and I haven’t had to bust out the console commands yet. Wish me luck!
Couple friends and I started a Minecraft Realm again, so I’ve been playing that a lot. Though we’ve been thinking of switching to a traditional server so we can use mods to slow down progression (please let me know if you know of any good ones).
Also got into The Finals. I’m dogshit, but I love it.
The Finals is a nice arcade-y feeling FPS.
I don’t feel like I’m very good with it either, but I still enjoy it. It’s a strange feeling, lol
I’ve also been meaning to get back into Minecraft…
I’ve still been slowly working my way through Monster Hunter Freedom Unite for the PSP. It’s hard as nails, but super chill and fun to take my time with. Highly recommended for fans of old school Monster Hunter, especially the ones who enjoy a bit of clunk in their gameplay.
I have sunk a lot of time i to Baldurs Gate 3 over the last couple of weeks.
Man, what a game.
I think it might be the best RPG I’ve ever played. But I’m struggling to place it amongst others I grew up playing, like Dragon Age Origins, Mass Effect, SWKotOR…
Not sure it counts but nostalgia kicked in and I replayed Chrono Trigger yesterday. Sadly I messed up at the fair in the beginning so I’m soon going to be found guilty in the game 😬
I’m playing through MGS2 right now for pretty much the first time (I did try it on Xbox, but didn’t make it past the first boss encounter with Olga). I played through MGS the last few weeks, and it’s always interesting to me to see a series develop over generations.
I have been playing some Crysis 3 as well since I never finished it. It’s enjoyable enough, and I love the nature-taken metropolis setting (also loved it in Crysis 2, and in TLoU 1+2).
Ground Branch is another one that I’ve been firing up regularly to play a round of Terrorist Hunt. There is a beta out right now with new AI mechanics, which is breathing some new life into it. I backed the game years ago (2017), and watching the development has been fun (if a bit slow).
Last one for me is Enshrouded – I’m less than 2hrs into it and still deciding if I’ll keep it. I’m itching for a new survival game, and so I’m hoping to try the Nightingale playtest this weekend, and then decide which one to commit to.
