I have a dedicated gaming PC, but would like a portable device for possibly some minimally intensive applications and at least 500 GB storage. I think 16 GB ram would be preferred, but it would mostly be used for browsing web and excel.

I could care less about screen quality or size. A 2-1 does seem like it would be nice, but in no way a must.

I bought a MacBook Pro and the battery was DOA and I remembered how much I hate the Apple UI and relearning all windows shortcuts etc so in process of returning that.

There are a lot of deals going on right now and just at a loss where to start.
