I mean, think about it: the Bengals have Joe Mixon, a character who punches women and points guns at people. The Dolphins have Tyreek Hill, who pleaded guilty to domestic violence and battery. The Raiders previously had Chandler Jones before they realized he was a liability. The Saints have Alvin Kamara, who was arrested on felony battery and served a suspension for it. The list goes on and on.
The biggest scandal that the Lions players have is that Jamo bet on college football…IN THE FACILITY! Whooooa, watch out guys we got a rebel on our team! /s
It just seems like the culture that the lions have built has been one around players that love the game, stay relatively out of major trouble, and care about the guys they play with. When’s the last time a Lions player was in the news for something that law enforcement had to get involved in like Ray Rice?
I think that’s the coolest thing about the brand the Lions have built over the past few years. Pretty much any Lions player would be cool to grab a beer with, imo.
Did they take responsibility for the situation?
