I’m playing on my PS5. I have simulation distance set for 10 chunks. For the sake of simplicity I want to make my base, farms, etc all within that 10 chunk area. Let’s say I had an ideal start and at 0,60,0 I drop an obsidian marker. That’s where I’m going to place my bed. Can someone explain to me the coordinates of the outer limits of where my things would update at. I would assume the furthest limits would be at -80,60,0 on the west 80,60,0 to the east, 0,60,-80 at the North end 0,60,80 to the south (or something like that) so it’s 80 blocks in each cardinal direction, 160 total from the center.
Is that a correct assumption? Is it the same going in the z axis up and down?
Is there an ez calculator to find the permitter if I wanted to put like a fence around this? I think Minecraft uses taxicab measurements so how do I determine the non cardinal directions easily. Is it like 60 west 20 north to get to 80 blocks? So 40 blocks diagonal would be the outer limit?
Hope this makes sense. Thank you!
