Does anyone think Ty Lue just spaces out and daydreams during games sometimes? I’m not even trying to talk shit, I’m seriously wondering if he does this. It really seems like things are going fine, then there are like 5 possessions in a row on both ends that are horrible and seems he’s not paying attention.

And sometimes it seems like things are otherwise fine but he “wakes up” and calls timeout, snapping out of his trance because of one meaningless mistake by Zu or something in an otherwise very positive series of possessions with good momentum going. Like a panic timeout.

I’m not suggesting he’s daydreaming about pizza or football or how the long-distance relationship with his lover Mook is going to work or anything like that. But perhaps he’s thinking about matchups and future game plans and just totally loses focus on what’s happening at the floor right then and there.

Ty Lue has always been a struggle, I honestly feel the Clippers have done as good or bad despite him
