Is it possible to connect one extender to wifi at the corner of a building and then connect another extender to the first extender in a different building?
Im trying to get at least a half ass signal out in tthe barn. Its got electricity but no coax or anything else.
Eventually the boss plans to pay to have the utility company run another power line out here (right now its sharing amprage with the house) and at that point the building will get its own wifi network but i need some sort of signal in the meantime.
Also both buildings in question have aluminum siding and foil faced insulation if that matters.
Im just looking to be able to watch how to youtube videos and use fb messenger without having to walk 25 feet away from the barn.
Any input will be appreciated!
It’s called a Faraday Cage and blocks all electromagnetic waves. The only way to penetrate that shielding is by drilling a hole through it and connect an access point on the outside to receive the signal and then use the signal on the inside via ethernet or open a window.
