I’m looking for a GMT, my first one. There’s the Seiko SSK, which is a caller GMT. I’d really like a “true” traveler GMT. Some micro brands are using the Miyota 9075 movement. Citizen has the new Series 8 GMT. Or the Longines Zulu time. What’s your thoughts. How much nicer is it to have a true GMT?

It depends entirely on your use case. If you travel very frequently and want a watch that is only practical when you’re crossing time zones, then get a traveler GMT. If you spend more time and home while needing to frequently monitor other time zones, then get a caller GMT. Neither is a “true” GMT.
