Recently, in September, I clicked on a malicious link, changed all of my passwords, and it’s been about a month since then. I’m fairly confident in my security measures. However, when I checked my Steam login history, I’ve noticed many successful login attempts with “-1” for the operating system type (OS). There were around 4 successful login attempts with an “-1” operating system type (OS) on the day when I clicked a malicious link, without a specific time or date indicating when the login was made. Last successful login attempt with a “-1” OS was done on 9 October.
After searching for information about that OS type, I found information on https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/0/1850323802581655133 , which shows that “-1” means a browser, and most of my successful login attempts were with “16” which means Windows (it’s my OS, and my login attempts).
I have never logged into my Steam account through a web browser or provided my credentials to any gambling sites or suspicious sites. There is no malware or suspicious software on my computer, and I don’t have any web API keys attached to my Steam account or other information that could be used to access my Steam account. I have Steam Guard enabled and have taken maximum security precautions to prevent unauthorized access to my Steam account. Should I be worried about that login attempts and contact Steam support?
There are no signs of my account being compromised or anything since I changed the password in September.
