It’s the most unintuitive shard they could implement on her, it simply makes no fucking sense especially when Pike is such a nice item on her. Press glaives to reduce damage…like…HUH ??

    i don’t think that the shard was implemented consider “every player buys hurricane pike”. If you don’t buy pike, the shard is very useful, so this becomes your personal play style, unrelated to the shard of luna or dota hero as in general. I prefer luna with aghanim, who gives a shit?

    1. People would get on top of you, especially when the meta is more about hunky Strength Hero bashing people in the face than long range pokingz

    2. It is super good when farming if you learn to utilize it.

    3. Damage reduction is never something you sneeze away, the ability to immediately get beefier to buy you enough time to heal back with santanic is insane.

    There is never unintuitive thing, you just gotta learn to break the habit. I forgot to buy shard on her half of the time too, not to mention pressing the skill. But when it works, it works.
