Perhaps someone can help me, I don’t really know how to go forward. I had a bad motorcycle crash at the start of the year and can’t walk, as a result, I decided to build a new gaming system to get me through the last/next months. My budget wasn’t super high, so I decided to cut some costs here and there where possible. One of those things I decided to save on, was buying my GPU used. I settled on a Sapphire RX 6900 XT Nitro+ SE that I found for 450 Euros. It was still boxed and in very good condition (foil covers were still on the card).

Anyway, to cut the long story short. I’ve been using the system the last month and it has worked flawlessly, have had no issues. However, I turned on the PC last night and for some unexplained reason, the RGB lights weren’t lit up on the card. I still have a display-out signal from the card. Upon booting into Windows, the fan speed is reported as 0/rpm, although the fans are clearly spinning. The Trixx fan health check fails on all 3 fans, even though they fully spin up to max speed.

The VBIOS selection in Trixx is no-longer there, and the Resizable BAR support has been reset and cannot be enabled anymore in the BIOS (it just resets on reboot).

I’m pretty sad that this has happend. I bought the card used and therefore can’t obviously expect the reseller to do anything. I contacted Sapphire Tech-Support, but just got an automated response telling me to RMA it through wherever I bought it from, which I obviously cannot do.

Does anyone have any idea what I could do, or what the possible problem could be causing this?
