Loving the phone, but I got a couple OS based questions that i can’t find an answer to on google

1. My friends with iPhone tell me that their texts are still sending blue and they have to manually hit send as SMS each time. Does this fix itself or is there something I can do about it?

2. I’ve noticed that my banner notifications aren’t popping up. I have notifications permissions on for every app and banner notis enabled but they still just silently pop up as the app icon in the top left. Anyone else have this problem?
