For an active player to be making $25M a year on 8 PPG. Yes he’s good on the defensive end, but as far as offensive production… $100M for a 33 year old who averaged 8 PPG in the last 3 seasons?
The offensive value for any other player with average defense would be $10M or less. I just don’t see an additional $15M worth on the defensive end.
He’s comparing Ben Simmons contract compared to his production. Ben was 23 when he signed his deal and was the face of the 76ers at the time. So his deal back then, made sense.
I don’t know why nobody understands this post lol. My post is asking if any other player has received a major contract, with such a low PPG. I know he is impactful in every other area, that’s literally what I’m asking if there are other players who got a bag not for there scoring, but for their impact on the floor.
