The Flash was panned after it came out in theaters and people had a chance to see it. Leading up to release, people were generally excited about it. Contrast that with MW being christened a flop before it even hit theaters.

A large and vocal contingent took issue with Amber Heard being in Aquaman 2, even in minimized role after Marvel edited her out as much as they could without massive reshoots. Heard, a POS in a mutually abusive relationship with another POS adult. Contrast that with Ezra the child abuser maintaining lead role in one of the largest films of the genre last year.

Everyone knows what pieces of shit they both are. The difference is, Heard was edited out and minimized as much as possible and Miller maintained lead billboard positioning.

A lot of the hype for Flash had to do with Keaton’s reprisal of Batman. Comparing Miller’s lead billing versus Heard’s role in AM2 being reduced is a bit farcical, no? The only way to reduce Miller’s role in Flash would have been to cancel the film.
