I remember Shakinah saying she was raised in a fundamentalist family where they had to cover up etc., but she left. It seems like her sister left as well.
What seems weird to me is how they both have had a ton of fillers etc. (it’s not supposed to be obvious but they look like claymation models) and the sister had a bunch of tattoos (which aren’t usually acceptable in fundamentalist groups, at least not for women).
Is this a common thing for people who leave fundamentalist groups? It just seems weird to me that they both look like they went to a surgeon and asked for the Kardashian special after growing up in such a modest lifestyle. It makes me wonder if that was just a made up story to make her seem more interesting.
