From what I heard, top players in the LCK will have a huge part of their salary reduced down to like the average salary for a pro-players next year. Will this mean, even more notable LCK players like SM, Canyon, Chovy and even Viper again are most likely to leave for other regions with higher pay? I really didn’t like how almost half of the teams in the LCK this year were just academy rookie rosters that weren’t either good or memorable. I can’t imagine the LCK going even further into budget.

    lck talent will be split across teams most likely, gen g core might split, kt is definitely not running back the same team - its not like teams such as nongshim/kdf dont have money, they just didnt want to spend this split. we’re probably gonna see like 1 or 2 superstars surrounded by mid/bottom players, like old afreeca rosters.
