We hear a lot about how the cap ‘isn’t real.’ What part of that means is you can take cap from future years and invest it into today. We’re not doing that because BB is growing this team from the ground up. Yeah sure we could have easily gotten more wins this year if we invested in high caliber players today. But what are you building around? To me that’s what BB has been doing the past couple years. He’s even mentioned this in previous interviews. The patriots are building.

Bill Belichick has been in the league for 49 years. He is one of the greatest experts in the field of football that will ever exist. You can make an argument there are others that would be great at building a team. But of all the options we have in the immediate future, he is our best option by far. Firing him would ruin everything he and the staff are working toward.

We’re all pats fans here. Just my two cents. Not trying to offend anyone who has my opposite view point.

Bill is clueless when it comes to building an offense pre and post Brady. There’s a large enough sample size from three different tenures, his Browns tenure, pre Brady Pats and post Brady Pats tenures that he’s good at defense and poor on offense.
