Does anyone else find themselves refusing to promote the BR and saving it well into the Information Age?

My current theory is that the Highest Best Use of the ancient era blunt siege weapon is to attach it to a helicopter army with the Escort Ability upgrade and a Great General. This flying-ignores terrain-seven-movement-behemoth can now erase the walls of any city in a single turn.

At this point in the game it is irreplaceable.

Upgrading to a medic seems entirely ridiculous.

Am I the only one launching the Blackhawk Battering Ram?
