Hello, I just recently started college.

I really wanted to go for the “apple ecosystem” but some of the programs I need will unfortunately not work on apple devices. Plus, I will be needing 16gb ram and M1/2/3 macs with 16gb ram gets $$$.

This is what I am currently looking to buy (btw no refurbished because of battery).

• $550 - Surface Laptop Go (16 ram, 256 ssd)
• $260 - Surface Go 2 (4 ram, 64 ssd)
• $78 - Surface Pen

I’m looking at the surface go 2 + pen as an alternative to an ipad 9th gen + apple pen. Both cost the exact same.

Should I make any changes? My budget is $1000.
