After years of working hard, I’m within reach of achieving dream car status, and I was hoping to gain some insight from M5 owners.

My dream is to own a fun daily, quick from factory and suitable for driving in every season. It will also serve as my primary mode of transportation. After test driving different cars, I found the RS3 to be the perfect car and currently waiting for the shipment to reach the US!

However, recently, a coworker of mine allowed me to experience his 2023 M5, and I did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did. Now, I feel that I might be happier with the M5.

While I could opt for a newer 2023 model, the price of $100k+ would stretch my budget to its max, possibly beyond what I would consider comfortable. Therefore, I am considering looking at used 2021+ models in the $80k-90k range. I plan on keeping the car for a minimum of 4-5 years. I don’t mind or worry about paying for maintenance, but I am more concerned about reliability and potential expensive repairs as a daily.

I would like to know how well M5s have held up for people over time, especially in higher mileage.

2021 would still have its warranty until 2025, even if you’re not the first owner. Just make sure you buy it from a dealer to prevent any future headaches

    CPO if possible as well
