It’s a ways off but that’s the window we’d gave to trade to get Grant back.

With veterans eventually coming back and our young guys growing with each other, we should be able to maintain a decent enough reach of the 10th place conference standing until January 15th when Grant would be finally trade eligible.

Grant and Duren starting with Stew subbing in for both throughout any given game.

Bojan and Harris are just too detrimental on the defensive end of the ball and already several years older as is.

Also, we SINCERELY don’t need anymore young players at this point. This draft class doesn’t even look that phenomenal and we’ve amassed so much already.

Weaver needs to make a quality move before this trade deadline and I don’t think Portland would be mad about maximizing their draft chances this season.

Give them Joe’s and Bojans collective contracts with a draft pick. They get to offload Grant’s contract and up their draft war chest

Anfernee Simon’s and Robert Williams are both missing time this season due to injury and Scoots not ready to compete this season and is already dealing I think with an ankle issue early. Portland will probably do like past years and shutdown for a full tank later in the season whereas we could still be fighting for that last play in position and maybe even surprise people after that too.

That first at this point is looking like it will not translate and would turn into 2 2nds. Due to heavy protections. And taking a horrible contract Fournier. Probably right though.
