How does VLAN work with wifi? Can I use TP-Link XE75 in AP mode, and have my IOT devices isolated on VLAN, and still have normal wifi for everything else?

Currently I just have 2 XE75 mesh units. They have the option to have the typical normal network and guest network, as well as a IOT network. So I have all my IOT devices connect to the IOT network.

Eventually I want to replace the router with one that can do VLAN and get some managed switches. So how does VLAN then transfer to the XE75s in AP mode? Will I need to replace them with enterprise level wifi APs?
