My roomate just got home and tore the battery out of his car cuz it was smoking and left it on the lawn. It is now making funny noises and getting very hot with no signs of slowing down. What do I do with this??!

Sold batteries for years and never seen 1 with electrical smoke. Seen a bunch with acid vapors.
