I know donations always get brought up in moments like this. Not sure if Ryan has any foundations that he started but something like that is always nice.
The man deserves to know how much he meant to this organization. Seeing him sad today was rough and I don’t think he should be hanging his head at all. I do get the disappointment for him that it’s over in TN, but he should know we love him for what he did for us.
Next home game we should also try to coordinate something during warmups maybe, but in the meantime if anyone on the sub has some good ideas about how we can thank Tannehill for all he has done it would be good to get the ball rolling.
I dunno. Mariota was pretty sad on the sidelines holding his helmet all through the 2nd half, just knowing he was going back in.
It’s just the way of the world. It’s not even an NFL thing. The old pass the gauntlet, sure they are still the bettor, but knowing there is only one way to ensure the next generation is given the opportunity.
Tannehill, probably is still the better QB. Time will tell, but it doesn’t really matter. It’s time to give someone else the chance.
Just like when he came in for Mariota.
I do appreciate Tannehill. He’s been a consummate professional, and clearly cares about this team. He’s not really been the same after the Cincinnati playoff loss, but neither has this team.
Best to him.
