This is an xbox wireless adapter bought straight from Microsoft, so not a third party thing (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZB7W4QU?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details). When I plug the device in, it does not light up. It shows up under devices as “XBOX ACC”. In devmgmt, it’s listed as having no drivers (code 28) and does not show up under Network Adapters under anything. I’ve tried manually installing drivers from: https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=xbox wireless adapter but it doesn’t work.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the device and resetting my PC 3 times. Tried different USB ports. Tried to manually install drivers but the system doesn’t detective drivers. I tried checking the Microsoft Store for “Xbox accessory apps” but it returns an error and won’t let me install that app from the store. It also doesn’t work on any other PCs I’ve plugged it into…
