Casa Bonita - before Trey Parker and Matt Stone buying it. The atmosphere was great, but the food was like prison grade Taco Bell. Except for the sopapillas. Those are dope.
But yeah, the food was so bad that you were forced to order before you could get in. Because they knew otherwise people wouldn’t eat.
With that being said, now that they’ve redone the restaurant, I’ve been on the wait list for 2 years now and just got picked today. So hopefully it’s better now. Will know shortly.
We’ll need a follow up please
Gonna be a while. They sent a list of available dates going out a few months. It feels like booking a theater ticket. Probably will be looking to go in September.
I once hallucinated after being poisoned by lunch from a Torta truck in Mexico, somewhere south of Monterrey. I was in a cinder block shitter a mile down the road until the sun went down that day.
Oh, and for some reason, literally every ihop I’ve ever been to has smelled like sewer, had terrible service, and has food that tasted a day old. They can’t all be like that right?
Chipotle. I don’t understand why anyone likes cold burritos.
Went to a steak and ale bar, asked for a medium rare and my partner asked for a medium.
Mine came out blue and hers was rare…I was like wow these are undercooked, sent them back…
They literally just microwaved the plate, salad and all…
Never went back, told a bunch of people to avoid the place.
