Just curious as to whether it’s a good idea to play the first Alan Wake/Control before playing Alan Wake 2. I’ve never played the series before and AW2 is marketed as stand alone but I wasn’t sure if that’s just how they are trying to sell copies. Wanted to know from those of you that have played it if you think it’s worth playing the other games first for context or not.
