Because that’s what EVERYONE wants!!

These bigger companies DO NOT care about making games, they care about making a cash cow.

Unfortunately, gamers have shown them that they are willing to pay for mtx and service games because that is where the money is right now in the industry.

For example: fortnite, warzone, diablo, destiny, ff14, genshin impact, shit mobile games that exist to take bored peoples money…

We have done this to ourselves. Why would companies cater to real gamers that like to buy a game once rather than casual whales who dont value their dollar?

This is why WB will make failure after failure until they strike gold with a service game. They will still make more money that way.

Sad because when this game will fail and fail miserably. A lot of devs will lose jobs.
