It’s nice to see Deni playing with confidence. Attacking the rim at a high rate and shooting much more confidently… higher percentages as well. Perhaps one of the most notable things that does not appear on the stat sheet; his confidence is much higher and is less reactionary to bad calls. His versatility as a player and age makes him one of the most intriguing guys in the league (yes, he is a young player… 22 yrs old).

Deni Avdija’s stats for the last 5 games.

His attempted field goals vary too much, he should be taking at least 14 attempts a game based on the depth of our team and lack of talent. He shot under 50% from the field in only one of the games so far this season. His three-point percentage is impressive, but I would rather see him taking more shots even if it decreases his efficiency. He needs the attempts for development and confidence.

I could see Deni becoming a really respected starter in this league with All-Star potential. He is a stat sheet stuffer with his ability to score on multiple levels, rebound, defense, and of course play-make. I would like to see him average 14 6 and 4 this year which I think is doable if he is given the correct minutes each night and continue to work on his aggressiveness and confidence.

What do you guys think of Deni’s start to the season? How do you see his career pan out?

You guys just latch onto deni and take any positive and run around the world 27 times with it, and expect everyone else to agree because of a 5 game sample size??? You can’t make him into something he is not, with hopes and more exhaustive posts about it.
