I was gonna write a long ass breakdown but I’m too annoyed for that so I’ll keep it short.
They’re both unathletic and suck on defense.
Dlo, Prince, Rui/Vando, Bron, AD
Gabe, Reaves, Vando/Rui, Woods, Hayes
Should be the 10 man rotation when healthy… if that ever happens.

It works but you need a real, physicals wing at the 3. Team hasn’t had that yet due to injuries
I agree actually. I think our best lineup is:
- Dlo
- Prince
- LeBron
- Rui
- AD

Gotta stagger their minutes or one of em has to come off the bench. We are not good enough defensively to have them both on the court at the same time
The problem with this backcourt is that both need to dribble the ball to be effective. And both are not spot-up shooters.
A good backcourt combo needs to have 1-2 punch. If the other is holding/dribbling the ball or slashing to the basket, then the other should be floating outside waiting for a pass for a 3-point shot.
That’s the reason why they called the 2 (shooting guard). He should be the designated hitter. Or both can shoot from outside.
Both are good enough spot up shooters their shots are just not falling right now. Neither can defend or dribble penetrate.
The Dlo/Austin backcourt only works when Vando is there. Remember that we were the best defense in the league with Dlo and Reaves both starting. I think UNTIL vando is back TP should start at the 2 but I highly doubt Darvin will do that.
trade dlo for lonzo balls and alex caruso
Reaves plays best when he’s next to LeBron, I think DLo should be the one moving to the bench to be the second unit playmaker.
Edit: We’re really feeling Vando’s absence with how problematic this backcourt has been on defense, and is probably why we keep falling behind early in games.
