• Covergirl Clean Yummy Gloss, Naturium Phyto Glow Lip Balm, L’oreal Balm in Gloss, NYX Fat Oil Gloss, and Dasique Fruity Lip Jams: No one can’t convince me that these are just all the same formula. They all have that smooth thick somewhat tacky feeling (and tingles?!), and all give the same high shine look. They also all have a strong sickly sweet sweet minis the Naturium. I would say Covergirl has the least amount of pigment compared to the rest, but other than that they’re the same. Just go with your favorite shade, scent profile, or the one that goes with your budget. They’re all very pretty but they feel exactly the same. WNRP

  • Nooni Appleberry Lip Oil: The packaging is SO SMALL, and funnily enough I would really like these if they DIDN’T stain. They feel the most like a traditional lip oil, but I don’t like the color it leaves behind. WNRP

  • ELF Lacquer Glosses: I’ll make this short weird texture and not hydrating. WNRP

  • Burts Bees Lip Balm: Again has the most natural finish, and I also like the look of these. I wish they were more moisturizing, but I do reach for these when I don’t want a glossy look. WRP

  • Canmake Lip Balm: This has the most natural/not shiny finish compared to the rest on this list. More moisturizing than the Burt’s bees, but none of the shades worked for me. :/ WNRP

  • Summer Fridays Lip Balm Pink Sugar: These are less thick/tacky than mentioned above, and have a more lightweight buttery feel. These feel more like a lip oil to me than the NYX lip oil. I got the shade pink sugar which I kinda regret since it’s pretty much clear. The smell on these don’t bother me and it dissipates pretty quick. I really like these, but the only think stopping me from purchasing another shade is the price. I wish these were around 15-18 dollars instead of 25. It’s a hesitant WRP.

  • Romand Juicy Lasting Tints and Glasting Water Tints: Cute, watery tints that dry down to a glossy finish. I like the finish of these on my lips however they’re really not moisturizing at all on me, the colors never look the same on my lips, and when I eat they’re GONE. I wouldn’t repurchase most of these, minus maybe Mulled Peach which is a really pretty shade on me, and I haven’t found a color similar to that. Glasting water tints are a more lighterweight than Juicy tints however I still run in the same problem as the juicy tint. The shades always look off, but I do really like how lightweight they are. Both of these don’t stain my lips, and I like all the scents of these. WNRP any.

  • Dasique Juicy Dew Tint: These tints feel like the Romand Glasting tint and a lip oil had a baby. These have the most “oily” slick to them, and they stain great. I would actually RP the shade I got again, my only gripe is the scents again are really strong. WRP

  • Peripera Mood Ink Glow Tints: These tints are the most moisturizing tint out of all and have the most balm like feel. They’re nice, affordable, but nothing special. I like the colors of the Dasique ones more. WNRP

  • Maybelline Lifter Gloss: These are the most traditional glosses out of all these on this list. They have a more creamy texture to me than the other glosses I mentioned. I actually really like these. WRP

  • Romand Glasting Water Gloss: Pretty but taste really weird. WNRP

I decided to finally treat myself, and get the ultimate boss of expensive lip treatments the Dior Lip Glow Oil. I’ll make an update when it comes, but this has been everything I’ve tried. Hope this either helped or maybe de-influenced you on any products! ❤️

I’m not a fan of Dior but I’m looking forward to trying the elf!
