Rudy looks extremely energized and like a defensive player we’ve never seen as Timberwolves fans. Everybody down to Naz, KAT, and new guys they just signed for vet minimums are 100% bought in to playing elite defense. They’re beating the shit out of bad and undermanned teams. The crowd is rocking for random weeknight games in November as loudly as I’ve heard since the Clippers play-in win; so far it feels like a legitimately formidable environment to play in. First time in 32 seasons that the Timberwolves have sold out the first five games. A player ascending to true superstardom.
It’s early. Vibes could be in the gutter in a few weeks and be extremely up and down all season.
But right now, they look like a team completely bought into their identity and on a mission, and the fans looks like they’re ready to help put the Timberwolves on the map.
Previous years after huge wins like the last one vs Boston….wed follow up with an uninspired turd against this undermanned Nola team and win close or lose.
They took care of business early and never let them creep back by death of a thousand paper cuts.

They look like they can have sustainable success. Last year and so many previous years have been so up and down, this team has an identity.
They got a tough stretch coming up with the next 5 on the road and two against Golden State and one against Phoenix. I’d love to see 4-1 to get really fucking hype but agree the energy this year is definitely different. Feels like we could make a legitimate deep run in the playoffs if we’re healthy.
