Answers:
Player A is second and third year Pascal Siakam
Player B is second and so far third year Evan Mobley
Conclusion:
I’m not here to promise that Mobley will ever be a 24 PPG scorer on good efficiency like Siakam is. But from looking in the game threads and post-game threads, it seems like so many people believe that the Mobley we’ve gotten so far is his ceiling and he wouldn’t improve in any major capacity going forward. Development isn’t linear, I’d bet a lot of people were saying that about Siakam, and look at him now. Look on the team as well. DG was arguably the worst starter in the league his rookie season, two years later he’s an all star with a 22-3-9 stat line. Jarrett was a late frp, was average in Brooklyn then broke out here and made an allstar as well. My conclusion here is Mobley will be fine. He this isn’t his ceiling, and he will end up being a great player in the NBA. He is going to be fine
