I’m assuming the front office made the trade for Harden because they wanted to be competitive during the regular season and have backup options in case pg/kawhi go down, and I’d say that’s fair. However, I can’t help but think: why mess with something that doesn’t need fixing? We looked amazing prior to the trade, can’t say the same now.

Frank literally gave a whole speech on redundancy and building a roster that compliments each other rather than overlaps similar talents. Russ and Harden are basically completely overlapping with each other. They superglued Mooks ass to the bench because he doesn’t play defense but they wheel Tucker out the first day he got here.

Kawhi and PG don’t look the same because they are trying to sacrifice. Kawhi Leonard, the only guy on that starting 5 to ever win a fucking chip is sacrificing his game for turnovers and more iso ball. Frank probably just lost Kawhi in free agency.

Front office for sure. They could have gotten a player with more needed skillset than Harden. They could have tried to trade for Porzingis. They could have waited for Zach Lavine or Myles Turner, both of whom would be seamless fit.

First 2 games im blaming the players. Nets had G league talent out there no cam thomas, no cam johnson, simmons or claxton and our 4 all hof players couldnt win something has to be said for that. Fit or not you cant lose that game idc.
