For me that was Portal 2. Now is one of my favorite games.
Dark souls, played it way late and was blown away.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition. How wrong I was. Now is my one of my all time favorite game.
Subnautica what an amazing game.
I like how it’s great at creating tension, without resorting to cheap jumpscares (at least intentionally). I don’t like a lot of horror games because of the cheap shots, but Subnautica manages to ride the line.
Scarlet Nexus. Played Demo and didn’t like it felt very easy even on Hard. When it came to Gamepass maybe they fixed I had fun it’s good game on Hard with fun bosses.
No Man’s Sky
Zero Dawn
The entire Metal Gear Solid series. Played 5 first when it came out and loved it. Like 8ish months ago did a playthrough of all of them except 4 ans loved them all.
Celeste.
I thought it was some random platformer, recently got hooked up with it and I realized it is arguably one of the best games in its genre, every chapter is a different challenge with new mechanics introduced.
GTA V
Dead Space
Resident Evil 4, the original version. There’s something about old-school tank controls that are more fun. The one-liners rock.
“No thanks, bro!”
Monster hunter world, bought it on release… didnt really vibe with it so i deleted after about 2 hrs. When Iceborn came out gave it another try and ended up sinking over 1k hrs
Outerworlds
KOTOR 2
I played the game for the first time in 2017ish.
The 4th wall break blew my mind. Easily one of the best lore force power things I’ve seen in all of Star Wars.
I just wish the recent sequels were just as creative.
As a kid, I wanted nothing to do with the Fallout franchise. I thought it was just “Skyrim with guns” and saw no reason to play it when I could just play Skyrim instead (probably also didn’t help that I’ve never really been one for post apocalypses). But then I picked up Fallout 3 one day and I fell immediately in love.
