What player in the NFL, past or present, would you have wanted to see succeed so badly but due to injuries, off the field issues, or whatever happened just derailed their career? For me it was unfortunate to see players like Josh Gordon or Justin Blackmon have their careers end or never getting back on track because of off-field issues.

Jahvid best man what could’ve been
Bo Jackson and Sterling Sharp
Duane Haskins. Dude had incredible talent at Ohio State and I think got into the wrong situation in the NFL. Fucking sad how the story ended but I still think with the right coaches/situation he could’ve been something in the NFL.
Jason Verrett - dude was playing all-pro level his rookie year and whenever he was on the field he was shutdown… but unfortunately he could never stay on the field.
Antonio Brown
Side question, does anyone remember what happened to Dwayne Jarrett? Receiver out of USC, I thought he was going to be the next big superstar. Seems like he just vanished.
I really thought RGIII was going to be big
Randy Gregory
There’s something buttersweet about the guys who hung it up early for their health, Kuechly and Luck come to mind, lots of respect for them but damn I wish I could have seen a few more seasons from each of them
Calvin Johnson
His hands took too many stafford fastballs and he held up the team on his back too often. Big Part of why he retired early was the way football took its toll on his body
Calvin Johnson was absolutely great. I don’t know many people who wouldn’t agree with this. He was hands down one of my favorite players who wasn’t on my favorite team. He made so many amazing catches and was always humble about it. I miss the dude.
Eric Berry would have been an all-timer. His body betrayed him.
Daunte culpepper.
