So after being annoyed by my laptop’s bad WiFi card, I finally decided to run an ethernet cable to my room. After connecting my laptop through ethernet cable, my internet speed increased significantly and reached around 250 Mbps. But after I arranged the cable a little bit to clear the clutter, the speed went down to a 100 Mbps.

What could be the issue here? Please help.
