I was thinking about this after the game last night – in the last three years, the time that I most enjoyed watching the Cavaliers was October / December 2021, right before Ricky tore his ACL.

It seemed like DG was truly emerging, Ricky was “found gold,” and it was just a lot of fun to watch the team.

I’m not saying there weren’t moments last season that were fun, but it’s never been quite as much fun as it was at the end of 2021.

Less than 10% into the reg season, I’ll reserve my opinions till at least Christmas. Give the boys a minute to work it out. We just recently got most of our starters back, and Strus is brand ass new.

I enjoy every season, even in the ‘dark’ days post Price and pre LBJ it was fun to watch Ricky who was as talented as they come but also as bad at making decisions (learned alot about bball by watching him provide a negative example of what to do on a court), Brevin Knight who was the opposite, Andre Miller who was a good jumper away from being one of the best PGs in the league…etc

I am really enjoying this season bc we have a crazy amount of talent, it can be frustrating at times but keep in mind that we are lucky to have the talent we have on this team and some day in the future we will be back to watching a bunch of old vets and a collin sexton again

The most enjoyable is (as you call out) watching young talent blossom, but if all you can enjoy is a championship run/roster you aren’t going to enjoy much…supporting a team through an 82 game season is a lot of investment you need to find a way for that investment to benefit you

The outcome is out of our hands, don’t let it ruin your day
