long story short, keyboard on my mbp 16”, i9 32GB bough in 2020 stopped working. first some 15 months ago right shift died and then a few weeks ago three character keys. so went and complained. managed to get a free fix for it. took 10 days to get it back. when it got back the repair paper said we changed everything but the screen and back cover. so I basically have a brand new laptop. and thanks to backups all i need is to wait for it to install from the local NAS :)
